“Will You Travel The World With Me?”

“Say you’ll remember me
Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you’ll see me again even if it’s just in your wildest dreams”

I have this song in my mind recently, and can’t help to get rid of it.

Wildest dreams: something like hidden impossible desires that drive my mind crazy. It’s not just a simple desire to have someone to love and enjoy every time with him, it’s something more adventurous. When everybody are thinking about the marriage, about the handsome guy proposing to her in a such a romantic way, I think about someone who takes me and run away, far away, together, discovering places and growing together.

I don’t believe in modern marriages; I would rather go back in time and marry a real man, who doesn’t cheat on her wife, who gives attention to her, who doesn’t need to surprise her with expensive gifts, as he knows that a flower and a smile are enough.

Nowadays we live in a world where temptation is a daily thing and cheating is so easy, that people forget what loyalty means. But I guess there is always a reason why people cheat on others: we don’t get to know each other completely. We think so, but it’s not true and the reason is simple: we don’t even know ourselves unless we travel, to realize who we are, what we want and how we can treat people.

How can a marriage work if you don’t grow up and learn together?

So yeah, in my wildest dreams there is a special boy (special, as he will do something that a very few percentage of the guys will ever do in their lives), trying to climb that high wall I’ve built, who proposes to me like this:

“Will you travel the world with me?”

yes
